Mary E. Clark, CFNP
located in Fort Wayne, IN
Mary E. Clark
Mary comes to Fort Wayne by way of Idaho, bringing with her a thorough and comprehensive approach to primary and critical care.
Having worked in a variety of healthcare settings, Mary has gained a deep understanding of caring for her patients; Family and Internal medicine, Allergy, Asthma and Urgent care are her specialized areas. Before becoming an NP, Mary worked as a BSN RN in Oncology for nearly 12 years.
Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she is currently enrolled in Walden University’s Psychiatric Mental Health studies program. This will provide further care for our patients who may have mental health issues. She will soon be available for DOT physical exams.
Starting as a Journalism Communications major, she eventually transitioned into the Nursing field. Journalism provided Mary with the communication skills to effectively listen and understand her patients, so they feel heard. Her patients describe her as honest, open, and collaborative.
After completing her Master of Science Nursing degree in 2012 at the Franciscan University of Ohio, she had the opportunity to work and live in Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, and Ohio.
Mary’s philosophy is “if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.”
Hobbies and interests
When Mary is not taking care of patients, she tends to her 2 dogs, cat, and a flock of chickens: spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and running. But most of all she enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and grandchildren.
Join us in welcoming Mary.
