About Estelle Daniel, FNP

A Fort Wayne native, Estelle has been working in the medical field for the last 15 years. Starting as a certified nursing assistant at Dupont Hospital while pursuing her nursing degree at Ivy Tech Community College, which she obtained in 2009. Her first nursing job was at Parkview Hospital in a medical/surgical unit, with a couple of years spent in the procedure room of a pain clinic.

Eventually, her thirst for knowledge led her to Tampa, Florida, where she completed a Master of Science Nursing degree in 2017. This led to her board certification as a family nurse practitioner. Having a strong interest in integrative medicine, her first NP job was in a functional medicine office. As an NP, she also worked in preventative home health care and as a nursing instructor. Working in different parts of the country and in a variety of health care settings, Estelle has gained a deep knowledge of caring for patients.

Here at FWIM, her current focus will include primary care, covid management, and group education. While, under the guidance of Dr. Veerula, they closely collaborate on primary care patients as he slowly transitions solely into integrative care. This year she will pursue further education in integrative medicine with the ambition of integrative certification. Estelle has a gentle style complemented with excellent listening skills. Her intention is to act as a coach or partner to help her patients reach their health and wellness goals.

Hobbies & Interests:

When she's not working, Estelle enjoys being outdoors, yoga, the performing arts, museums, weekend getaways, reading/researching, and experimenting with health hacks. Join us in welcoming Estelle.
